Inchyra Park extends north-eastwards from the Grangemouth Stadium towards the Bo’ness Road and is bordered by housing to the west and industry to the east and north. It was created in the mid-1960s as part of the rapid growth of the town and the stadium was seen as part of the park. The area had been part of the airfield and parts of the runways can still be seen. It originally covered around 16 acres but this was increased to 30.9 acres and includes four football pitches at the north end as well as a children’s playground in the centre.
