TIMELINE
1891: Founded in January by Pastor William Wright, a baker. Meetings in Lesser Public Hall, Denny, with open-air baptisms at the Red Brae, Carronbridge or Castlerankine Glen, until present the building in Herbertshire Street opened.
1905: December. New church opened at a cost of £900. Memorial stone laid 9 September 1905 after two months work. The building is of brick with a stone front. Low platform with panelled front. Hall and kitchen to the rear. J. Abercrombie – mason work. Architect J. & A. of Glasgow. Cost £900. Debt cleared in 14 years. Over £100 from James Wright.
