This park lies to the north of Stewartfield Place on the Main Street, Larbert, and was laid out in the 1920s with additional playground equipment installed in the early 1930s by Eastern No 1 District Council.
It was only in the early 1950s that football was allowed in the park. The reason for its introduction was that the labourers in the adjacent iron foundry had taken to playing the game on the roads.
