An ice-house with a brick built circular ice-chamber set in puddled clay was demolished by the Amenity And Recreation Department of Falkirk District Council in 1980 as part of their development of the Muiravonside estate as a country park. It lay adjacent to the south-east corner of the stable complex, near the current playground.
