1950: Established by James Wright while he was still in control of Comelybank Foundry.
James Wright retired and his son John took over.
1979: McGowan, foundry manager.
1984: “Jobbing foundry making grey iron castings up to grade 220 (14), max. wt. 150kg. Producing general engineering castings. Also aluminium castings up to 50kg. Employment range 1-15.”
