1886: William Gardner, sole proprietor of the Linlithgow Foundry Co.
1890s: General builder’s castings and pipes.
1891: Until this date horses had been used to take goods to the Union Canal, this was replaced by a railway with locomotives. Business run by William Gardner, William Gardner junior and James Gardner.
