The new primary school which replaced both the Infant and Senior Buildings of Bainsford Public School was designed by Central Regional Council architects in 1978. It is of two storeys, the ground floor harled, the upper oversailing as a tall attic broken up into small sections. The prominent feature is the roof made up of these sections with steep slated sides containing rows of windows.
