The doocot at Arnotdale House in what is now Dollar Park was built shortly after the house in 1834, as is testified by the date on a sundial set within the blank window on the south wall. It is supported by a consoled moulded shelf. The face is square with a simple moulded border. Sitting on this is the datestone with a triangular pediment and corner lobes which is made from a harder stone. As befits the solicitor who owned the house all the numbers are in Roman numerals.
