Carrongrange School was one of several erected by the Parr Partnership in 1999-2000 along with the latest extension to Larbert High School which lay just to its south. Carrongrange was built for special needs teaching around a small-scale courtyard. Rendered blockwork with gunmetal grey aluminium windows and ribbed aluminium roofs.
Upon the completion of a replacement school at Grangemouth in 2017 the building at Carrongrange Avenue was incorporated into Larbert High School.
