The school roll continued to grow and the Kinnaird Waters Early Learning and Childcare Centre was opened to the north-west of the main complex in August 2019.  Kinnaird Waters ELC Centre was purpose built in August 2019. It provides education and care for up to 144 children between the ages of three years and five years.  The principal contractor on this occasion was Clark Contracts Ltd of Paisley, Fairhurst of Glasgow continued as structural and civil engineers, and Hawthorne Boyle Ltd were responsible for the mechanical and electrical engineering.  Kinnaird’s specialist facility, the Thistle Wing, caters for children with severe and complex needs.  In 2023 an extension will be opened to the south-west.

The school has rapidly grown in size since it first opened its doors in 2007 and it is now one of the largest primary schools in the district.  It was designed by Falkirk Council Architects and built by Marshall Construction of Alloa, with W A Fairhurst as engineers and Faithful & Gould as surveyors, at a cost of £9.75 million.  This primary school had 14 classrooms with a capacity of 430 complete with nursery provision.  It consisted of a two storey teaching block, community room, parents’ room, dining hall, kitchen and sports hall. The landscaped grounds, sports field, and play areas are all protected by CCTV.
