Stenhousemuir Primary School

As part of the post-war rebuilding of schools throughout Stirlingshire a new school was opened at Stenhousemuir in 1957.  It lies to the west of Rae Street and is structurally typical of school buildings of that era with steel frames, rendered brick walls with glass panels, and low-pitched felt roofs.  A water tower facing onto Rae Street provides some distinction.
