It is appropriate to end this section with a well-considered design for a sundial which is about to be executed on the ground in 2021. It was created as part of a project to enhance Zetland Park in a partnership between Falkirk Council Planning Department, the National Lottery and the local community (the Friends of Zetland Park).
The sundial will take the form of an annotated pavement dial using high quality stone slabs etched with images and text based upon significant events in the history of Grangemouth and Zetland Park. The events and text chosen by the community and the artwork executed by CMC Associates.
