Bonnybridge War Memorial Park

Commemorative fountain of which only the fluted cast iron column remains.  The inscription reads:

“ROYAL ORDER OF SHEPHERDS/ (GLASGOW DISTRICT)/ PRESENTED BY THE/ LOYAL JAMES SMITH LODGE No 2154/ TO COMMEMORATE THE JUBILEE OF THE LODGE/ 1888-1938.”

Smith & Wellstood Office

Commemorative water basin and fountain on the north-east corner of the Smith & Wellstood office block at the junction of Seabegs Road and Broomhill Road.  The inscription reads:

“IN MEMORY OF   WILLIAM MITCHELL/ FOR FORTY YEARS   FOUNDRY FOREMAN/ IN BONNYBRIDGE   FOUNDRY ERECTED/ BY THE FIRM AND   EMPLOYEES OF/ SMITH & WELLSTOOD   AUGUST 1909 AD.”
