On the opposite bank of the Millhall Burn from the Little Kerse site NS 940 794. Shells found in 1999 (Falkirk Museum Acc. No. 1999-56) appear to represent the northern spread of the midden, suggesting that the main body of the midden lies on the north facing slope near to its foot, to the east of the steps into Polmont Wood.
